Hard White Wheat Berries

Ever since we started selling direct to consumer in 2021, we’ve recieved requests for Hard White Wheat. We heard you! Our first crop came off in 2023 and are now available to you! My family is loving these berries, and the bread we make has become the new household favorite. Bethany even won judges choice at the county fair for bread she baked using this wheat. Hard White Wheat can be used wherever hard red wheat is used, but lacks the tannins that give red wheat its read color and earthy flavor. These berries have a smooth and mellow taste, are versatile, and can be used with good results in just about any recipe. Our Hard White Wheat is the highest protein wheat that we currently sell, at 13.4%. We regularly use this wheat to make flour for baking pizza crust, rolls, loaves and other yeast bread recipes. Like all wheat grown in the U.S.A ours is Non-GMO. Our grain is sun ripened too, grown without the use of desiccants. New to using wheat berries?
